Q: is this a good deal for a 2006 hyundai accent?
it has around 46000 miles on it and is being sold for 9800 dollars about. its in good shape for the most part.

A: "its in good shape for the most part", does that mean it has some issues? Surprisingly http://www.nada.com says the fully loaded Accent GLS (power windows/seats/locks/sunroof/Infinity CD) with 46,000 miles has a retail price of $11200 in mint condition. So, $9800 isn't a bad price, though I'd offer $9000 to open and try to get the best price you can. Now, if that is not the model you are looking at with all the goodies, then the car is worth $1500 less.

Q: Is there a COMPLETE bodykit for the 4-door 2006 Hyundai Accent?
I've seen a complete bodykit for the 2006 Hyundai Accent 2-Door, but not for the 4-Door. Does anybody know where I can find one for the 4-Door???? I'VE LOOKED EVERYWHERE!!!!

A: i dont think that they make a body kit for the 4 door... you can try to adapt the 2door body kit though

Q: Any 2006 Hyundai Accent drivers out there?
I just wanted to know if anyone drives/driven the 2006 Hyundai Accent...what your thoughts about it are...good, the bad, and the ugly....

A: I have heard good reviews. Those Koreans are making more reliable cars than Toyota now.Hyundai Accent is good grocery getter.Cheap on gas.Good quality interior has a peppy 4 cylinder engine. The Hyundai Accent is greatest car in its class besides the new Kia Rio.The Kia Rio is made by Hyundai in S Korea but is basically the same car except it's sportier, cooler, but is less refined, the interior is ugly and Kia is not really an esteem raiser.I'd go with the Hyundai Accent,Best Car in its class I would say.Consider a Kia Spectra though.

Q: Do universal cold air intakes fit a 2006 hyundai accent?

A: do a search on ebay they should have a brand called bomz or something that might sell intakes for it, they are like 30-40 dollars + shipping (mine was around 60 total). i got one of the boms intakes for my tiburon and just bought a better filter for it and its just as good as the aem. all you are paying for is the name if you get a injen or aem etc. good luck

Q: does anybody own a 2006 hyundai accent?
just now whenever i start my car, the engine makes this weird noise, like first going soft then loud for a couple of secs. how is yours?

A: My BMW is absolutely fine, Thankyou.

Q: how can I get a free owners manual for Hyundai accent 2006?

A: Probably not going to happen. I have bought two off of e-bay for my car and van. Try e-bay, you will have to pay if get one from them.

Q: What's your take on the Hyundai Accent 2006?
Do you own one? I'm buying one, trying to, and I'd like to hear peoples reviews on the car. So please, no outside opinions.

A: Well. living in the NYC area I see plenty of early 2000 model Hyundai's everyday plus I drive a 2001 so I do see at least one everyday. ;) The Accent is a good car, good on gas but pretty basic. My mom had one years ago and it was pretty durable. Not the best in class for anything but doesn't do anything poorly either. Overall it's good for a daily driver.

Q: when does the low fuel light turn on? how much fuel left? i have an 06 hyundai accent?
i have a 2006 hyundai accent 4-door sedan and i know it explains in the owner's manual but i just want it to be more specific. when does the low fuel light turn on, how much fuel do i have left when it turns on, and how long can i still drive with the remaining fuel? thanks. and if u guys can show me sample pics of this? that would be very helpful. thanks a lot :D

A: The low fuel light comes on when you are down to about one gallon of gas. Your car probably gets about 25 miles per gallon, so you should be able to drive about 25 miles before you run out. But, be careful. When making turns, the gas will slosh in the gas tank and you may have a brief moment where the fuel pump is not picking up any gas to send to your engine.

Q: Is A Hyundai Accent A Stick Shift?
because i'm considering buying a 2006 hyundai accent

A: Here We go... Hyundai comes in 4 cylinders with automatic or manual transmissions, it is very common that a vehicle with manual transmission is around 900 to 1K dollars cheaper. Keep in mind that if a manual one is more than an automatic it may be because of extra features that the auto may not have. Also, most of dealers tell you that their vehicles have been rated 5 stars on certain things such as safety, they just want you to stay at the dealership until they convince you to purchase from them. I recently got a vehicle for my daughter fully loaded for $16,800 and a similar one of another make was 4K more. Do your figures and don't be afraid to tell the salesman that you are going to check another make, and always don't feel committed to buy because you drove test the car, after all you have to test it for ergonomics ( the way you feel physically inside the car, like can you reach the shifter properly or the clutch, brake or gas pedal, etc.) and how it rides. It is your money until you sign for the car, then it is you car not your money. Check all the windows, if electric, also if buying from aused dealership look at the engine to check if it has been washed, it may indicate hidden problems. Good luck!

Q: Hyundai Accent--any known isues I should be aware of?
Any particular model year that was bad or something like that? I'm looking for a 2005 Hyundai Accent, or 2006.

A: The 90's Hyundai's and Kia's were bad. Anything after 2001 from Hyundai or Kia are great.

Q: 2001 Hyundai Accent gti...is this a good deal?
I own a 2006 Sonata and think Hyundai is a great car. My mother is looking at purchasing a 2001 Hyundai Accent GTI, very good condition, 90,000kms and they are asking $5000 (Canadian)...is this a good deal?

A: I dont know what province your in but here is a link for the canadian autotrader http://www.autotrader.ca/default.aspx?ref=trader simply enter the vehicle in question and you will most likely get an idea what the average asking price is. I have a fair idea and think the low $ 4000. range is a fair price with vehicle being in excellent condition. Its buyers beware buying a vehicle 6 years old and to ensure your getting valid value study this webpage http://www.usedcartips.org/TESTDRI.html I dont expect you to become an expert overnights, but learning a few steps how to buy a car will help you decide. If you have further Q's feel free to contact me through the website...good luck

Q: Are there constant cosmetic problems with newer Hyundai models?
In April 2006 I bought a 95 Hyundai Accent (2dr) and I have been steadily paying for replacement door handles (inside and out) window tracks and the control panel where the heat/air/radio controls are. We go to the junk yards to obtain these parts and in most cases they are already gone, which tells me that it is a typical, on-going problem with Hyundai. So my question is: Is this so with the newer models of Hyundai? I love my car but it's a cosmetic nightmare and it's been costing me a slow fortune. I really want a newer Hyundai Accent but I'm not sure it's worth it.

A: Hyundai is a much better brand than it was 12 years ago. Beginningin 2001, they changed their whole business model and strategy in the US. In 2001, Hyundai started offering their current 5 year, 60K miles bumper to bumper warranties and their 100K powertrain warranties. They also redesigned almost their entire line of cars. I would say that getting a new Hyundai today would be a good choice. The Elantra is a very good value when compared to other brands in its class. You get so much more on the Elantra than the Accent and it isn't that much more expensive. Overall, don't consider another Hyundai prior to 2001. Anything after 2001 is worth a look.

Q: Can I convert my car to LGP(Liquefied Petroleum Gas )?
I'm just worderning if i can convert my car from Regular Gasline to Liquefied Petroleum Gas system. Does anybody know where can i do the modification in Calgary, Alberta? How much will it cost? Is the modification legal in Canada? My car is Hyundai Accent 2006 Auto 1.6L

A: I don't know how much it will cost to do that or if it is legal, but I know that it is possible to convert it. Because in korea, it's legal to do that for commercial cars and Hyundai is made by koreans.

Q: 2006 Hyundai Starting Issue?
OK the wifes car started today. (06' Accent) It always starts. But today was different. She went to start it and it turned over one cycle...paused...then continued to turn over and start. Kind of hard to describe. Turn the key and it goes whirr..........whirr,whirr, whirr, ignition. Not a steady starter motor turning cycle. So she told me about it and I tried it. It did the same thing to me twice. So we decided to take it to the dealer and drop it off. She's convinced it won't do it for them, as it started normally upon taking it to the dealer. What does this sound like to you? Starter? Battery?, etc... I'm also wondering what kind of diagnostic they will do to tell if there really is something wrong if it does not perform the problem for them. Thanks everyone.

A: Sounds like the starter's drive gear, the bendix, isn't engaging the flywheel/ring gear.
