Q: How to remove door panels on 3 door 2007 Hyundai Accent?
I have a 2007 accent (hatchback) and I need to remove the door panels because I wanted to put Dynamat on them... How do I remove the door panels on this car? I'm afraid to break anything, lol.

A: unscrew door handles look behind window cranks if any for clip springs you need a small hook for that. after you remove handle and wondow cranks start at bottom outer side and work a screwdrive or other flat tool round they just pop in plugs not that hard

Q: Where could I get a cruise control kit for a 2007 Hyundai Accent?
I've been looking but I can't find anything. I'm specifically interested in the GLS 4dr Sedan model but cruise control is not available on the new Accent. I'm trying to find a kit online to hook it up - I hear its a pretty easy and fast installation. Does anyone know roughly how much installation would cost? I'm not too good at cars so bear with me. I don't think a junkyard would work, but the again I don't know for sure how universal cruise controls are. And the $20 bike shifter thing sounds sweet but unfortunately I highly doubt I'd be able to figure it out haha.

A: I don't know, but these people definitely will: http://www.hyundai-forums.com/ http://www.hyundaiforum.com/

Q: What could I do to make my 2007 Hyundai Accent to look good?
I already got a cold air intake.Anything else?Body kits?Hood scoops?Anyone have parts or parts sites?

A: Don't listen to the people who talk trash about this car. I have an 05 accent and I love mine. I would for your accent, get a spoiler, some nice rims, and maybe a body kit. That would look sick. I have a spoiler and rims on my car. I am thinking about getting a cold air intake and maybe a performance exhaust on it later on down the road. A place to start off finding these things would be either ebay or hyundaiaccessories.com Those two sites are the places where I got my things for my car. Good luck with your searches and have fun with your car.

Q: What size and type of Rims would look good on a maroon 2007 Hyundai Accent?
i just bought a brand new hyundai accent its maroon and to me think that i cant put rims on just bc it might look weird..but then again dont really know much about rims!!! so if anyone knows a good size and type of rim that would look good on it please answer....and maybe also where i could get them!!! thanks Okay so thank you but now i went to tirerack.com....looks good but would alloy or chrome be nicer....if chrome where can i go?

A: go to tirerack.com they have a program that allows you to "put" rims on your car virtually. Personally I'd say wait a bit to splurge on rims and look for something you like.

Q: how much did you pay for your 2007 hyundai accent?
im trying to buy my first car and i want to know about how much others paid for the same car.

A: Expect to pay Sticker and subtract any rebate

Q: i need a replacement gas door for my 2007 hyundai accent gs. does anyone know where to get one that fits?
i have looked around but can only find gas doors for trucks. i broke mine and would like to replace it.

A: If you have the 2 door, new from the dealer is about $60.00. If you have the 4 door, new is about $20.00. It will not come painted. It should cost approx $50-$70 to have a bodyshop paint it for you. That would be your only concern when getting it from a junkyard. You'd probably need to have it painted to match.

Q: 2007 Hyundai Accent with broken side view mirror glass?
Hi, the glass on my my driver's side view mirror is cracked. The mirror itself is still intact, it's just the glass that is broken. Does anyone have any idea how much it will cost to fix and how to fix it? Is this something I need to visit a repair shop for or can I DIY it?

A: any auto parts store should have a replacement mirror for your car. you just take off the old one and stick the new one on and your good to go.

Q: What should I pay for a 2007 Hyundai accent?
3 door gs TOTAL base model (stick shift, etc) with only AC and am/fm radio as an upgrade (NOTHING else) ...

A: Is it new or used? What Country?

Q: How do I turn on my Passenger Side Airbags in a 2007 Hyundai Accent?

A: The passenger air bag works on a sensor in the seat itself. The light should go off when someone bigger than a child sits in the passenger seat. If the air bags light stays on when an adult is in the passenger seat then you need to have that checked out at the dealership.

Q: Will my 2007 Hyundai Accent get better gas mileage after an initial break-in period?
It should be getting 32city/35highway. I know these are just estimates, and that the test done by the EPA doesn't accurately represent actual driving conditions. However, we've been averaging about 19mpg city. We've only driven about 170 miles since we bought the car and our tank is just under a quarter full already! This is so far under the EPA estimates that I wonder if it is cause for concern. We have a manual transmission and haven't carried any heavy loads. We've also kept AC use to a minimum. Whats going on?

A: Typically you will get slightly better mileage after breaking in the engine and allowing the engine rings to seat appropriately, but it will only be slightly better (a mile or two). However, there are many things to check. Most new cars NEVER have their tire pressure checked before they are sold. This would be the first think I would check. I noticed the last few cars we've purchased, that the dealership didn't check our tire pressure and that they were much lower than the recommended pressure of the manufacturer. Fixing tire pressure can easily increase your mileage by 2-3 miles per gallon. A/C on small cars drains an enormous amount of energy. The EPA numbers always assume no A/C. You can expect the A/C to drain you mileage between 10%-20%. So you're looking at 3-6mpg. I know you said you don't use it much, but I'm just letting you know the A/C does put a big drain on the engine. Also the gas tank gauge is not a good way to determine fuel usage. The gas tank gauge is not calibrated in exact increments and are only approximations. A better way to determine gas mileage is to reset your trip meter each time you fill up. Then on you next fill up of your tank, write down the reading on your trip meter. So you know the number of mile you drove, and how many gallons it took to fill your tank. Though each pump at the gasoline station is slightly different, you should get pretty accurate miles/gallon values.

Q: Are there aftermarket parts for 2007 Hyundai Accents?
I am interested in a 2007 Accent but would like to know if you can get aftermarket parts for them. Or would I be stuck with buying Hyundai parts? I know how expensive replacement parts can be. The nearest Hyundai dealer is 40 miles away...( 80 mile round trip..)I wouldn't be taking it there to have it serviced

A: Warranty? Only if the 2nd buyer pays for the remaining mileage. GM warranty good to 100k. Aftermarket parts, probably readily available due to the number sold since model introduction. If really concerned about a particular part, or parts, check with a auto parts store in the area. Also check with independent repair shop in your area as they are aware of parts replacement houses.

Q: I don't want my 2007 hyundai accent anymore?
I just brougt a 2007 Hyundai Accent 4 door and I was used by the dealer i'm a female first time buying a car and he told me to refinance in six months because the car is 14,446.00 with 24% apr. I don't want this car anymore because it's just too little for my family and he told me this will be a good idea because my credit score was 524 and it would help improve my credit and he also told me I would be able to trade it in within four months, I didn;t know anything about bad equity on a car, I don't want a five year car note on something I don't want. Would anyone give me advice Please, If I lose $2,000 it would be better than spending thousands of dollars on something I don't want isn't it or keep the car refinance in six months and take a lose, what should I do? will it be better to refinance i have been paying an extra 50$ with payments a month and it will be $4000.00 and some change in august will that be a realistic time to trade it in or will the value go down

A: You bought a car, and now have to live with the consequences of the choices you made. There is no right to return a vehicle after you take delivery of it, so the answer saying you have three days to return it is incorrect. That only applies to in home sales, not when you go to a place of business! A used 2007 low mileage vehicle like yours in worth about 10,500 wholesale, so if you were to sell it to a dealer today, you would be looking at losing about $4000 + what you paid in taxes and tags. The best way to get out of this situation is to pay the the car off as quickly as you can, double up on the payments. You may also want to check with your bank or credit union to see if you can get a better finance rate. When you have paid the balance down to the point that you no longer owe more than the car is worth, then you can sell or trade it for something you like more!

Q: What is the maximum number of miles a Hyundai Accent can run? I am planning to buy a 2007 accent.?
I am planning to buy a 2007 Accent GLS 4-door. I wanted to know the number of miles it can run.

A: That is an interesting question. Now my answer is going to sound kind of crazy. You probably can drive this car for 400,000 miles if you "wanted" to. That means keeping up the routine maintenance and taking excellent care of it. The main problem with cars are there owners. People buy new cars and abuse them, then they complain that their car is a piece of crap. Well, some cars are lemons. I would bet every dime in my bank account that there are ten times more bad owners than there are cars. Unfortunately, I have owned nothing but used cars. I will tell you about a few of them. 1979 280zx. It was a rusted out, neglected piece of junk headed downhill fast when I bought with 152,000 miles on it in 1995. I drove another 64,000 miles until 2003 before it finally had a problem I knew I wouldn't be able to fix on the street. I sold it to a junkyard for $60.00. I used that $60.00 to buy a replacement glass sunroof for my next car. LOL. 1986 Acura Integra. I bought this one just before of my 280zx went to the junkyard. I bought it with 180,000 miles in 2003 and sold it a few months ago for $500.00 with 220,000 miles on it. You probably think it is a hunk of junk. WRONG ANSWER! That baby has heart! I drove it from Sacramento to San Diego several times with a hitch. That baby is alive and kicking, it's good for one hundred miles an hour any time you feel like going that fast. I sold it so cheap because I was selling it to a teenager that is my co-worker's son and we're cool. Sure, both of these cars broke down from time to time (water pumps, alternators and batteries) but neither of these cars spent more than 24 hours out of comission and generally just needed routine maintanence. The moral of my story.... You are looking at buying a brand new car. Do you really think Hyundai "wants" you coming in every other week with warranty issues when they are handing out 10 year, 100,000 mile warranties? Me either. Hyundai isn't the same company they were back in 1987 when they were making $3,788 Excels. Buy a car and take care of it. If you don't know how to take care of cars, learn how. Learn how to maintain the paint job. Here's the first hint, NEVER WASH YOUR CAR IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. Washing cars in direct sunlight ruins the paint and makes the hood and the roof look all chalk (burnt clearcoat). My girlfriend is a CAR SLOB, she just bought a car and she dogs it. She leaves crap all over the place in that thing, BAD IDEA. The next thing you know when you start doing that sort of thing you just don't want to take care of the car at all. It is a GREAT feeling knowing your car is most likely NOT going to break down. It's not rocket science, just read your owner's manual and find out when your new car will need important service procedures done.

Q: Totalled 2007 Hyundai Accent insurance appraisal????? HELP!!?
I totalled my 2007 Hyundai Accent hatchback last week. I am waiting for the appraisal from my insurance. How does this process work and how much should I expect to get? Am I supposed to accept their first offer? Please help... Yes, I crashed the car (I slid on ice into a wall). I own the car as well, it's been totally paid off.

A: You have to realize that the car depreciates about 15-20% as soon as you drive off the sales lot.......so, what would it cost to buy another Hyundai like you had? You can get a ROUGH idea by looking at the Kelly Blue Book, but, keep in mind that this reference is for the consumer and it is NOT necessarily what the company will use. You probably won't hear ANYTHING from them until after Christmas - and then they will be slow due to the holidays. Sorry about your car - next time, drive more carefully on the ice......probably better to stay home on days like that - nice warm fire and all that! Good luck and I hope this helps!
