Q: When will the 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring be available in the US?
A: My advice is to call your local Hyundai dealer and see what the latest estimate is. They were originally to be released in spring 2008, but with the Genesis sedan and coupe also in the works I guess there was some delay's. I don't see anything listed on the web about the current release date, here's a couple useful websites though. http://www.elantratouring.com/

Q: 2008 Hyundai Elantra or 2009 Toyota Corolla??
The Elantra is a bit more affordable, but not by a huge margin. It is still cheaper to insure though.
I like the Corolla-- it is nice and classic. However the Elantra is rated as one of the "Top Picks for 2008" in Consumer Reports.
I currently drive a 1998 Corolla CE I have had since 2002. It has 148000 miles on it, and is still going strong !!

A: For the price if its in good running condition then its a good deal. At that age hardly any cars are still good cars. I'd have the car inspected by a mechanic and if its fine, then go ahead and make an offer. From the photos it definitely looks like its worth the price. As with any older car you may need to make small repairs, but considering you won't have a car payment, high insurance or gas bill its worth the effort.
