Q: Hyundai Genesis?
I am very excited for the arrival of the Hyundai Genesis. This is a huge step forward for Hyundai and, in my opinion, a real game-changer. I know that it is expected to be released in "Summer 2008". It is now Summer 2008, and I'm wondering if there is an actual date (or time frame) when the Genesis will actually be available and in dealers. Thanks!
A: I agree with the other poster, they should now be available to purchase at your local dealer. Hyundai's web page now allows you to view all the details, they didn't days ago. http://www.hyundaiusa.com/vehicle/Genesis/genesis.aspx I'm going to a Hyundai promotional event at the end of July where they will let us test drive the Genesis and some other brands luxury cars for comparison, should be fun. The starting MSRP is $32250 and fully loaded $40,000 for the V6. The V8 starting MSRP is $37250, but only $41,250 fully loaded. So, the starting price is a bit higher then anticipated probably due to the low value of the dollar. Kinda funny how they almost trick you into getting the V8 though if you want to fully load your Genesis with the $4000 Technology package, but what businessman wouldn't want a cooled drivers seat?
Q: Does anyone know when the new Hyundai Genesis will be available to the public for purchase?
With a 375 hp engine and a sleek bold look, it seems Hyundai has finally caught on.
A: Hyundai is telling us it will be available this summer. The projected date of release is June 15th. From my years of experience with Hyundai, that means that the release will probably be closer to July 1st.
We already have deposits on 6 of them. Took four deposits the day after the ads broke on the super bowl and two more today.
This will truly be a monster of a car. Hyundai has climbed the mountain and now with the release of the Genesis, it will have made it to the top.
Q: What do you think about the new Hyundai Genesis?
The new 2009 Genesis V8 with 368hp is awesome and looks to be a BMW 3, Infiniti G, and Lexus GS killer. Anybody have any thoughts about it?
It was one of the Superbowl commercials.
A: It is nice,
But, it will not compete with the Infiniti G or BMW 3.
The Infiniti G competes with the BMW 3 series, Audi A4, Acura TSX, Mercedes C class, and Lexus IS series.
The Hyundai Genesis competes with Lexus GS, BMW 5 series, Audi A6, Acura TL, and Mercedes E class.
Q: Is the Hyundai Genesis the same as the 2009 Hyundai Tiburon?
I was wondering if the future car Hyundai Genesis was a new name for the future Hyundai Tiburon.
A: Totally different vehicles, Genesis is the ultra luxury sedan that will compete with the E series and 5 series cars if not S/7 series German luxury cars. Genesis is due out in Spring 2008 and is the next model up from the Azera luxury sedan.
The new Tiburon will finally give Hyundai a sportcar instead of just a sporty car. The 2010 Tiburon due in 2009 will be able to compete with the 370Z/G37, Mustang and Camero if they do have a V8 version. There's very little info on this car so far other then it will be RWD and come standard with a V6 of unknown size (hopefully a brand new more fuel effecient motor).
I think both of these cars could be a bit of a risk as Hyundai is really upping their engines and with gas prices unlikely to come down and no Hybrid models coming (as far as I know) Hyundai is a bit behind others in fuel economy.
Q: What was a reaction to the Hyundai Genesis?
To me, I thought it was a really cool Car, which will begin sales in the early spring 2008, and the design was super duper good for the hyundai and this kind of car is you have to see it for real, not by videos or pictures. well the Tau engine has many horsepower and can reach 60mph in less than 6 secs.! well they haven't posted the inside pics. but they say it is good as M-Benz S class!
A: That 1st dork must have been looking at a Sonata, the Genesis is as beautiful as a 750i and basically as big and powerful. It also has almost all of the features found on the 750i, just not the $75,000 price tag. A fully loaded Genesis should cost around $40,000 which less then a RL/M45/GS430. I can't wait to see the reviews next year, see if it lives up to the hype.
Q: What is the exact date when the hyundai genesis comes out?
the sedan and the coupe...i know that the sedan comes out sometime this month and the coupe is coming out before this years end..
A: No word on the Coupe yet. The sedans expected delivery is last week in June....1st week in July.
Beavin is correct on them being pre-sold. We are getting 7 of these and 5 are already sold.
The Training starts the second week of July for sales.
There is no expected ship date on the 4.6 L version as of yet.
Here is the list of the features and also the options that are available and also the pricing that all dealers received last week.

Q: What is the top speed of Hyundai Genesis?
Are there any good sports cars under 45,000 dollars anyone recommends?
A: top speed of the genesis 4cyl is 137,the v6 is 149 and im not sure about the new 4.6 v8,i dont like the 4-door models but the concept 2-door is awesome, under 45,000,i love the challenger, buy me one while your at it lol.
Q: What Day Does the Hyundai Genesis Go on Sale?
It looks like it could be a great car, what date does it go on sale?
A: Like the 1st guy said, I don't think it is 1 day in particular that they will arrive at every dealer like a CD/DVD arrives at every Best Buy. If you are really interested, all you have to do is talk to the sales manager at your local Hyundai dealer, they may not have any for sale initially if pre-orders were taken as the cars will trickle in at first.
Q: New redesigned Nissan Maxima or new model Hyundai Genesis?
Check them both out at Car & Driver. I plan to test drive both as soon as they hit my area to see/feel differences.
A: Yes, I'd have to test drive both, but I know the path you walk my friend. I bought a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE back in July 1999 and replaced it with a 2006 Hyundai Azera Limited in January of 2007 with no regrets. I love my Azera, nicest driving and most luxurious car I've ever owned. The Genesis looks and sounds like it will be a great car, so a test drive of both is definitely called for. I'd go for the model with the cooled seats, definitely helps get through those hot summer days where your back is sweating while the front of you gets blasted by the AC. I think these are both excellent cars you'll be happy and excited to own.
Q: How to tune Hyundai Genesis Coupe for drift and racing?
Using preferably the V6 engine.
A: A couple of teams have already build a Genesis Coupe racer. You may want to read about them to see how it was done.

Q: Does anyone know about HYUNDAI GENESIS?
I am keenly waiting for this car. Please reply letting me know Details(Price & Colors) of Hyundai Genesis coming to India. What will be the availablity of Colors? Will it be possible for Indians to get it in Red? Kindly answer clearing some of these doubts.
A: I'm not sure it is coming to India, but the best way to find out is to contact a Hyundai dealer/resaler or check their Indian website. It was released in America in June 2008.
Q: Do you like the appearance of the brand new Hyundai Genesis?
Both inside and out?
A: Sure, it looks nice and is aesthetically pleasing. However, it is a very "safe" design and doesn't take many risks. It also barrows heavily from other cars, especially Lexus.
Q: What do you do at vehicle tours such as the "Discover (Hyundai) Genesis Tour?"?
My dad and I signed up to go, so at the time slot we are in will there be like 10 other people each with their own car? Will we get to drive other cars as well? What else do you do for the expected "Hour and a half?"
A: I'm going on 7/26/08 to the event at Fedex Field in Maryland. I've been to similar events sponsored by Mazda and Chevy, and they didn't have competitor cars to drive. Maybe they have a presentation to compare the Genesis with other cars, I haven't even seen a comparison review yet anyway. Though the individual reviews say the Genesis lives up to its billing as a BMW/Lexus killer.
Q: Is the Hyundai Genesis a reliable car?
I might want to get this car.
A: I'm a Hyundai tech and our dealership has sold a couple over the past few months. None in with problems just yet. To me it looks like a very reliable car. Wait it out two years, let Hyundai work all the kinks out and the price to drop a little. You can never go wrong with Hyundai's warranty.
Q: Should I get the Hyundai Genesis?
I won't buy the first model year. I'm going to wait until they come out with the dual turbo chargers for their V8 RWD Luxury Sedan. I wonder what a fully equipped Genesis is going to cost. They start at below $30,000. And it has the famous 10 year 100,000 warranty. I like how they stand behind their product so long as the owner can show proof of proper maintenance.
What do you guys think of this car? Looks good doesn't it?
A: Don't listen to the guy b4 me who said Hyundai is crap. In these days, If some ppl say Hyundai is crappy, they will be laughed at ppl who knows about automobile Yes get Genesis It's beautiful car. It has the Sound system that is only available from One Expensive car from Rolls royce. Called Lexcion. They are the highquality speakers. And don'tforget the power that Genesis have. Do some research and you'll be really happy.
