Q: What do you think of the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe?
please give your honest opinion and only answer if you own a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe

A: I love my 07' Santa Fe, I went and looked around at many different SUV's and Cars. I found that the Santa Fe drove nicely, was quiet, had some key extras, and had a nice appeal. I also couldn't beat the warranty with any of the other companies. I have owned my car for about 3 weeks now and am having no buyer remorse. I have owned Jeep and Honda in the past and this is definitly the bes.t Good luck.

Q: 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe outside temperature display: how to fix it?
Just bought an '07 Santa Fe Limited. The outside temperature display always reads 68 degrees (I wish, it's been 90 lately). The temperature display/reset is not listed in owner's manual. Any ideas on how to get the thermometer to read the correct outside temperature?

A: Hyundai has released a technical service bulletin to address this problem, which is related to the wiring in the fuse box. The dealer can fix this problem, it takes about an hour.

Q: I drive a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and the Electronic Stability Control Off light keeps lighting up.?
I start up the car and the light is off. Then, within a few minutes, it turns on and stays on. The ESC on/off switch in my car will not shut off the light. Any idea what the problem could be? We won't be able to take the car to the dealer for a few days.

A: Do your brake lights work? Check them. I've seen issues on the Hyundai Sonata where the customer comes in with the ESC light doing weird things and it needing a brake light switch, but I've never seen this on the Santa Fe. The ESC system is very complicated and can only be diagnosed by a Hyundai GDS ( Global Diagnostic System). This should be covered under your 6 year/60,000 mile warranty. Don't try to mess with it yourself, this will alter the warranty. Esc sensors are NOT cheap. Actually I worked on a ESC issue on a Santa Fe today but unrelated concern. So yeah call your local dealer and make an appointment.

Q: I am torn in between buying a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe or a 2008 Nissan Rouge. Any recommendations?

A: I have looked a both of them also...and far the only advantage I see is the Santa Fe is rated the best by consumer reports and Car & Driver magazine...and it costs less.

Q: How can you disable the seat belt warning bell on a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe?

A: Have an accident and get ejected from the vehicle, and you won't have to worry about it any longer. Seat belts are especially important in SUVs, which have a high center of gravity and are subject to roll-overs in accidents.

Q: i have a 2007 hyundai santa fe and i owe about 24,000 on it and it has 15,000 miles..question about trade in??
i have a 2007 hyundai santa fe and i owe about 24,000 on it and it has 15,000 miles..question about trade in?? my first car broke down on me and i had to trade it in, dealership actually helped me by taking it off my hands "owed 7,000 on it + 5,000 in repairs" but i bought a new car from them form msrp. my car is now worth about 16,000 i would guess. is it possable to do a trade-in and work a deal for a lease??? would dealerships go for a lease mroe then selling a car now??? i figured since the industry is hurting they can work a deal, tell me what you think..

A: I always loved the Santa fe. With all due respect don't take what I am about to say as criticism. It seems to me that you really had a good deal last year. Apparently there's nothing wrong with the current car either. The santa fe does not have that bad gas mileage either. My guess is that you only wish to trade because of the 24K you owe. I think the dealer could have worked in the Prior 12K you in this 24K. Well I'd check my Credit report. If it is better now than last time, I'd work on Refinancing the loan. If not from current Bank then with other bank where I make get lower rate. Just because the industry is getting squeezed, does not mean you will get a great deal. You could land into even bigger loan this time. Understand that the dealer took off the car last time. He did not pay off your dues on it. He worked it into your current loan instead. (Possibly at a higher % rate)There's no such thing as a free loan pay off. So don't do it. One does get tempted by the smaller payments on the lease. But leasing without EXCELLENT credit <=700 is big trouble. You made 15K miles on the Santa fe in one year. So you won't be able to stick with 12K or less Hard limit on a leased car. Remember if you go over limit with Miles or damage the car you have to pay BIG time. Bottom Line - Refinance the loan. Don't trade let alone lease.

Q: What is the lowest or best price for hyundai santa fe 2007?
For people who bought this car> How much was it without tax? For cardealers out there> what is the best price for this car? preferably with all wheel drive. limited edition. sunroof. 5 seats or 7 seats. How much did you get it for?

A: there is the santa fe GLS starting at 21,150, the santa fe se is as low as 23,845, and the santa fe limited starts at 26,145 these prices will probably go down when the 2008 is released look at the website

Q: Will 2007 hyundai santa fe make a good SUV?
have you driven in it? did you like it? feel free to say...

A: Our family owns a dark blue 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited AWD and we love it. It's been a great car. It hasn't had any major or minor problems since we have gotten it, and it has about 15,000 miles on it now. (We bought it last year in July). The gas mileage is average for an SUV this size, and the AWD I believe lowers it maybe 1 mpg. We get around 21 mpg for mixed driving (suburban and highway miles). The only things I can think of that you should make sure you like are the front seats (the head rests especially), the standard radio (with or without XM), and the ride on the bigger wheels. The front head rests are father forward than other cars, and some people that we have driven around have found them uncomfortable, to the point where they put the seat back a bit. However, it doesn't bother anyone in my family so we are fine with it. One thing that annoys me personally is the radio volume control. At volume level 4 or 5, it is already really loud and the volume steps between numbers is large, so it is hard to find a good volume sometimes, but this is a small inconvenience (you can always get an aftermarket radio, can't ya?). Last, the ride on the biggest wheels available, which is standard with the Limited and I believe available on the sport edition. They make the ride a bit rougher than the GLS and it can get a bit bumpy on badly paved roads. But it isn't like it is knocking your drink over or hitting your head on the ceiling. But it isn't like a Cadillac or GMC Envoy, that's for sure. Taking that all into consideration, it is a great SUV and I'm sure you will be happy with it if you do decide to purchase it. The price was a big draw for us, and all the features and most of the things about it made it even easier for us to decide to buy it ourselves. Oh yeah, one thing. This isn't necessarily a problem, but every time we have the defroster or the a/c on, there is this fairly moderately loud noise that sounds like cranking/clicking coming from the engine compartment while coming to a stop or at a full stop while the engine is idling. It isn't a big deal, but we have asked the dealer about it and they seem to think there isn't much concern to it. If you want more information about consumer complaints of the 2007 Santa Fe, go to the site listed in the sources. Good luck!

Q: Is there a 3.3 Litre V6 engine 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe in china?
only answer if you really know please! (know answers like 'please contact the dealer' or something)

A: you already answered the question for yourself, thanks

Q: Do all 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe models come with standard 7 passenger seating? three rows?

A: The Hyundai Santa Fe is a standard 5 passenger CUV. The 7 passenger seating is an option across all trims and costs $1,350 in the GLS trim (base) and $1,300 in the SE and Limited trims. However, with the 7 passenger configuration the third row legroom is very small and suitable only to small children over a short distance. It is better to purchase the five passenger configuration. If you really need the extra seating I would recommend the Hyundai Veracruz. The third row has generous legroom compared to its competitors and is really quiet and luxurious. But wait for the '08 model because Hyundai is making quite a few options standard and adding the option of a navigation system. Also consider the GMC Acadia, Saturn Outlook, Buick Enclave and the Toyota Highlander. I would add the Honda Pilot but it will be completely redesigned for '09 model year.

Q: does ayone know if you can have GPS installed on the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS 2.7L?
IT's the base model so i'm not sure if you can have it installed

A: The answer to your question is No. Hyundai does not offer GPS as a factory option on any Santa Fe in the US Market. You can however have an GPS unit installed in your car but it will have to be a stand-alone aftermarket unit, not integrated into the car itself and not Hyundai Brand. The cheapest way to do it is to pick up a portable GPS with Mapping. I would recommend a Tom Tom; that way you can take it with you in any vehicle you need to drive.

Q: Which one to buy, Mazda 5 or Hyundai Santa Fe 2007?
When fuel economy, reliability, price, comfort etc is considered, which car with a 3rd row seat is better? I can spend 20-25. I like the interior of SF, but it looks too big from outside for me, being a small person. I was thinking waiting for 2008 Mazda 5 to get (hopefully) a new five-speed automatic gearbox, rear vents, an iPod input jack and on some models, LED taillights. Grand Touring models also get standard alarm systems, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, automatic headlights, heated sideview mirrors and rain-sensing wipers.

A: Well, from being at the Hyundai plant in Alabama where they make the Sante Fe, the car is very, very well built with a high level of quality. However, from a comfort side, the seats in the Hyundai are not as comfortable as I would like. However, it does have a much better warranty than the Mazda. The Mazda is a bit cheaper, but the Sante Fe has more room and more space as it is a bit bigger. Myself, I would go with the Hyundai, only from the warranty and better quality. It also has a base V6 engine rather than a I4 (Inline 4).
