Q: Will there be a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon? If So, when does it go on sale?
I know the TIburon will be changed to Coupe/Tuscani. But I dont know if that happens in 2008 or 2009. I'm wondering if it will be possible to find a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon.
A: 2008 Tiburon is unchanged from 2007, no rush to get it, should be out in the next 2 months, call your local dealer for an exact date. The updated Tiburon is a 2010 model due out sometime in 2009, there is virtually no info other then it will be RWD and come standard with a V6 and optional V8. Apparently Hyundai is moving up to compete with the Mustang and upcoming Camero, leaving only the Scion TC and Mitsu Eclipse in the small sporty 4 seat segment.
Q: How much do u think i can bargain off (Hyundai Tiburon 2008)?
well..looking to buy a new hyundai tiburon 2008 GS sport...
im in BC and it goes for $22595.00 MSRP
and ...thats just a hair over my budget...i was wondering how much do u think i can bargain..and NOT get rejected
also plz dont recommend me other cheaper cars..cuz ive already test drive it and i love it
A: Go to edmunds.com or kbb.com and find out the dealer's invoice price with all the options you've selected and any applicable rebates. I think they have a $500 rebate right now. So try to shoot for the car at invoice price -$500.
Do not be afraid to walk out. If they want the sell they will call you back or not let you leave in the first place. Do not go early in the day or they might try to wear you down over several hours. Go to the showroom about one hour near their closing time and see how long they want to stay at work after hours trying to wear you out.
Can you get financing ahead of time. Check the local bank/credit union rates and try to have financing in hand when you show up. Otherwise that "great deal" will be consumed on the financing end with a poor interest rate.
Q: Why did edmunds.com say the 2008 Hyundai Tiburon was outdated?
Is it just because it's sleek and not boxy like other cars made today?
I also read their review of the 2008 Nissan 350Z and they said the design of the 350Z was still fresh after all these years, yet the body style is only a year younger than the Tiburon's body style which came out in 2002. So what is it about the Tiburon that makes it outdated?
A: 6 years is about the average life of a model in today's market. It's due a complete down to the frame redesign. Hyundai has to do everything it's power to keep their market share fresh because it's no secret their cars have a resale problem. I do not recommend anyone buy a car make in Korea for that very fact.
Q: 2008 hyundai tiburon?
in the 2008 hyundai tiburon, isee theres is two diiferent radios?
one is a large factory style cd player and also can get a kenwood after market look, but which one is better? do their kenwood audio system sound good?
is the tiburon fun? could it be a great car for a guy as his first car?
and also what does the optional infinityremium audio sound like? and how many speakers dpes it have?
A: Actually, the 2008 model only has 1 stereo option. The 2007 model had 2. The '08 comes standard with the Kenwood, 6-speaker, 220-watt AM, FM, XM, CD Player. The Kenwood system is a very good stock player, as with all systems, generally.
Yes, the Tiburon is fun. Even the GS, although a little underpowered for my taste. The GT V6, which is a bit more in price is worth it.
Q: Where can I get CUSTOM seat covers for my 2008 Hyundai Tiburon?
A: www.coverallusa.net/hyundai
They are guaranteed to conform to any airbags you may have. If you choose a cover with fancy designs or such, make sure they comply with any airbags you may have in the seat. Many of Hyundai's side airbags are in the seat back, not the 'wall'.
Q: I'm getting a 2008 Hyundai tiburon, what color should I get....Black or Silver? ?
A: I like the look of black more, but silver doesn't show the dirt and it's more popular.
Q: Making 2008 hyundai tiburon faster?
So I am buying a 2008 Hyundai Tibroun GT V6 this weekend and wanted to know what things I could do to make it faster. I read that they didn't have much horsepower and really wasn't as fast. So I was wondering what things I could do to make it really move. Im a girl by the way.
A: Yes, you can make the Tib faster. Like C7S said. There are sites you can use to get some performance parts.

Q: Buy a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon in 2010?
Will I be able to buy a Hyundai Tibyron in June of 2010 brand new? I don't like used things, and for all I know a used car could very easily been in an accident and never told to a used car dealership. I really want to know if there will be any new Tiburons on lots in 2010 and do you think they might be around 10K to 12K at that time? Thanks.
A: New 2008 models still on the lot in mid-2010? I highly doubt it, you might find 5-10 dealers out of the 700+ nationwide that still have such an old car sitting around, but its not worth the effort. What's wrong with a newused car anyway? It may have been in an accident and fixed, so its fixed and close to new condition you are just paying less. You could always buy the car early next year and let it sit for a year until if you must have a new car in June 2010 when you get your drivers license.
Q: 2008 Hyundai Tiburon vs. Mitsubishi Eclipse?
Which one is safer? Which one has better repair reports? And which one do you like more overall? Thank You
A: I would go with the tiburon, the new ones are really turning heads in the auto industry, as far as safety goes im not sure but both do have side curtain air bags, hyundais have a better mechanical quality, I know a few people who have eclipse's and they fell the interiors are really cheap. The eclipse has more horsepower with the spyder version, than the tiburon, and they do lack some room. in my opinion I would go with the tiburon
Q: Im buying a new 2008 Hyundai Tiburon in black. I need help with mods?
I have 2.5k $ to spend.
I would like a body kit installed and painted black to match the 08 tiburon.
Anyone know a good body kit? Anyone know a kit that comes pre painted to match a black tiburon?
Anyone know how much the paint and instalation will cost... Not looking for a 5 star job, just someone whose going to get the job done.
If that is too pricey for the 2.5k how much would it cost to get a white stripe painted down the middle of the car?
Also, if that is too expensive, how much do 2 racing seats cost?
Also... I live near Santa Barbara CA, anyone know where I can get this done anywhere between SB county and Ventura county? or even LA county.
Any other random info would help thanks!
I dont know how to reply, so im just editing...
Edit: I really just want to know how much money Im looking at if I want this job done... also those body kits only go till the 06 model.. would they still fit?

A: Check for a body kit at
http://www.bodykits.org/cart/view_products.php?Body_Kit=8_2003_16_60
I'm sure there are others also, don't know about painting.
For a racing stripe you can probably get one made in vinyl for a few hundred dollars.
I'd forget the racing seats especially if you plan on driving for a few hours on the highway. Not real comforatable.
Q: 2008 Hyundai Tiburon Horn?
I was wondering if there was a way to install a different horn on my car, the factory one sounds really gay.
Thanks!
"I have a 2003 Tiburon and If anything I wouldn't like about it is the horn... does sound bad. I can't add any thing beyond "Born Catholic" and "Ginger" as they are correct." couldnt of said it better myself lol
A: You can install any horn you want - from the dual-tone Cadillac horn to a tractor trailer's air horn. Just need a basic understanding of wiring and be sure to mount it where it won't get in the way of anything else. Your local auto parts stores will have many universal horns, they generally don't come with all the wiring though.
Whatever system you alter will ultimately be void of the warranty. Changing horns shouldn't actually alter anything but (worst case scenario) if it falls off and jams in the belts or fans, none of the damage caused will be covered by Hyundai.
Q: 2008 hyundai tiburon FWD or RWD or AWD?
thanks
A: All Hyundai Tiburons ever made were FWD.
2008 is the last year they are making it.
They plan to bring it back under a different name in a few years. It will still be FWD.
The RWD 2009 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is not a Tiburon replacement.
Q: tiburon hyundai 2008 lambo doors?
i have been lookin all over the internet and i cant find lambo doors for my car so can some one please hook me up with a link?
A: They are called Scizor doors.
You use the same doors on the car.
You just buy Scizor door hinges, which make the door open upwards.
Each kit costs about $2,000 so they are not cheap.
I have seen them in the back of tuner car magazines where they show different products for sale like Intakes and headlights and so on.
Barnes & Noble and Borders both have lots of these magazines.
Q: Hyundai Tiburon GT?
I am looking to buy a 2007/2008 Hyundai Tiburon GT, I dont exactly know alot about cars, I just know what looks good and what sounds good.
So what are some PROS and CONS about this car?
I have heard in the past that Hyundai was not a good company to buy from, what have you heard?
Really just any information is good.
thanks =)
A: This is a VERY good car! Hyundai's used to be extremely unreliable, but now they are better than Honda! Every Hyundai comes with a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty
So as for the car....
It looks great, and its sporty too....the V6 is probably the better engine, but it just depends on what you can afford.
If I were you, you also might want to look at a Scion tC (tons of standard features! huge sunroof!) or a Honda Civic Coupe
good luck!
Q: supercharged tC or V6 Tiburon?
I'll be purchasing a car soon, and I need help making a decision:
Should I buy a TRD-supercharged 2008 Scion tC or a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon GT Limited?
Can anyone post the performance specs of both?
Thanks for the info and advice!
A: The Scion tC. Also contrary to what the last answer stated, I'm pretty sure that the lighter 200 hp, TRD-supercharged TC will cream the much heavier,172 hp Tiburon GT
Limited V6 in acceleration but the Tiburon might outhandle the TC. Still I would feel better buying a Toyota product before buying a Hyundai. Hyundai parts are cost a lot more than a Toyota's parts. Sorry I don't have full stats on them.
