Q: Hyundai Tucson?
Does anyone out there have a Hyundai Tucson? How do they like it? Performance, comfort, overall, etc. ?

A: No, but I have a Sante Fe and bought it due to the raves I heard about it. And the raves were correct. I really like my little SUV.

Q: What is the color of my Hyundai Tucson bumper?
My Hyundai Tucson is aqua silver in color. Could any one out there tell me as to the exact color of its bumper?

A: It depends what model you have. I have a Tuscon Xenith in black and the bumpers are colour coded, also the Limited ones are also colour coded. The only ones I have seen in Aqua Silver have black matt bumpers. Best to contact your local dealer, they can advise you I'm sure.

Q: Where can I find programming for a Hyundai Tucson keyless entry?
I lost one of my key fobs for my 2006 Hyundai Tucson, and can purchase a new one on eBay, but have not been able to find anywhere to purchase or obtain for free the programming for it. I have seen on other websites that the programming for other cars is available. Does anyone know where a site is that can direct me to obtaining this?

A: with the hyundias or at least all the new modles it will have to bo done at the dealership. they have to use the scantool to program the remotes. this is the only way to do it now.

Q: What do you think about the Hyundai Tucson?
I am looking for everyone's general opinion on the Hyundai Tucson. How it looks, drives, handles, or what you have read about it. Thanks.

A: Here are 23 user reviews from yahoo auto on the Tucson, its a great place to live by the way! Fun to drive and good room for dog and golfers. Seats fold flat very easily and the middle armrest serves as a seat for small dog. Sports shift is fun, but the engine power curve needs to be flattened. It seems to bog at lower RPMs

Q: How many KM do you get on your Hyundai Tucson on a full tank of gas? V6 Model?
I have a Hyundai Tucson V6 model, had it over a year and it runs amazing. No complaints about it all, but more a concern, I'm interested in what other owners are getting on a full tank of gas on there Tucsons? What is your total KM? Thanks

A: What year model is your car? Depending on year model, they had a different final drive ratio due to excessive fuel usage. If you are getting 450km per tank around town - this is normal. On freeways it, of course, should be better. We have a close friend who gets 450 to 550km in city driving per tank and is very impressed.

Q: What is the best Canadian price for 2007 Hyundai Tucson GLS All Wheel Drive Model?
I want to purchase 2007 Hyundai Tucson but I just don't know what is the best price for it. Therefore I don't know where to begin to bargain with the car dealer!?!?!?! Please help!!!

A: Go to your bank and ask what it would be assessed at if you were to apply for a loan - they give great estimates, very accurate, based on condition and mileage.

Q: I want to buy the 2007 Hyundai Tucson but someone said i shouldn't cos it's a terrible car. Is this true?
I don't know anything about cars and will really appreciate if the car gurus could tell me the advantages and disadvantages, if any of owning the Tucson.

A: I've owned Hyundai's since 1997 and have not had any of the problems, that I have had with American cars. By the way Hyundai has a 100,000 mile ten year warranty. Ask the other car dealers will they give you the same without charging you. By the way the person giving you advise probably don't know anything about cars either.

Q: Anyone have these problems with the 2005 Hyundai Tucson?
I got my hyundai tucson brand new in 2005! I have been having a few issues lately. 1st thing is the keyless entry..its been screwing up the past year or so. Like sometimes they keyless entry will work and sometimes it wont..and then i will be on the road and all of a sudden it sounds like my doors are trying to lock or unlock, when i havent pressed anything. i have taken it in to get fixed and the 1st time they said they couldnt find anything wrong with it..the 2nd time they said the replaced the ground wire?..it worked for about 2 days and then it went back to its usuall ways of some days working fine and then next days it will not work. NEXT.. my battery has DIED 2wice..and i havent left anything ON..i've had to get it jump started. I dunno what could be causing it but the wireless door locks trying to lock or unlock overnight...any ideas? anyone else have these issues? each time i take it to the dealership they say they cant find anything wrong with it/replaced ground wire.

A: yes we all do. thats why we pushed them to the junkyard

Q: The cost of a 2007 Hyundai Tucson Bumper and Bug Deflector?
Our 2007 tucson has a large dent in the back right side of the bumper. At first I thought it was broken up into three peices ( the bumper itself) but then i realized it was one large peice. How much would it cost for a new bumper plus a new bug deflector which snapped at one side?

A: The bumper cover and deflector parts are about $500 + $350-$500 for labor, so about $850 -$1000. You'll want to get at least 2 quotes, from my own experience body repair rates can be quite different from shop to shop.

Q: What is the difference between the Hyundai Tucson and the Hyundai Santa Fe?
Size, gas mileage, negatives, positives etc. Thanks to all answers! I want to know from someones typing not a website - Ive already been there.

A: All I can tell you is... even though the Santa Fe is the larger of the 2, the Tucson has more interior room. My 6'2" husband's head touched the ceiling in the Santa Fe but he actually had more room behind the wheel of the Tucson. We ended up buying a Ford Escape. Way better !

Q: Hyundai Tucson versus Subaru Forester or others?
If buying a 4 cylinder, 4 wheel drive small SUV with a manual transmission...would you choose a Hyundai Tucson? Another one I'm considering is the Subaru Forester - but not the Toyota Rav4 because it's no longer available with a manual trans. Dan smjns333@hotmail.com

A: The Tuscon is a vehicle I would recommend--but the Forester is a vehicle I would recommend very highly. The Subaru Forester has won more awards than any other small SUV and is an excellent vehicle in many respects. That's not to say that the Tuscon is bad--its a fine vehicle as well. But although the Forester is dated in some respects, there really are no other small SUVs that have such a combination of virtues. The Forester has the smooth ride and nimble handling of a compact car on pavement, yet it's highly capable offroad. The AWD system is one of the best in existence--it's effective, it operates transparently and it's bulletproof. The base engine delivers good performance and fuel economy. The interior is practical and comfortable, although the rear seat is small. The Forester has a strong, long-standing reliability record (an area where the Tuscon has yet to prove itself). Visibility is good and crash-test results are first-rate. The Tuscon is quite well-rounded overall. It has a more spacious rear seat than the Forester. It's quieter, roomier and has a generous warranty. But the Forester still has an edge in handling, fuel economy, reliability, AWD efficiency and crash-test results, and I consider it a couple of notches better overall. Over the last decade, just about every comparison match made by magazines from different countries has placed the Forester at the #1 position (or close) among small SUVs. I haven't seen as many comparison tests with the Tuscon since it's newer, but in the ones I've seen, it's ranged from mid-pack to above average overall.

Q: Where to install an infant car seat in a Hyundai Tucson/Santa Fe?
I have a Tucson and it looks like the anchor systems are on the side seats, not the center. I thought the middle was the safest place for an infant car seat. We have a chicco with the LATCH system so I want to be able to use it but it looks like I'll have to use the seatbelt if I want to install in the middle. Is that right or am I reading the manual wrong?

A: I would read the manual for the car, I know my Nissan tells you where the safest place for a rear facing, forward and a booster is. Good luck...you could always ask the hospital as well.

Q: Which car is big the Hyundai tucson or the santa fe?
I think the tucson in the car line-up it the tucson. But the dealer says the santa fe.I am confused tell me please.

A: Santa fe is bigger
